Father Elvin Figueroa was ordained to the Diaconate in 2016 and to the Holy Priesthood in 2021. He holds a certificate from the Institute for Paleo-Orthodox Christian Studies, where his formation cultivated a deep love for Holy Scripture, Church history, and theology. His passion is not only to study the faith, but to faithfully teach and pass it on in a way that is both rooted in the ancient Church and accessible to people today.

He currently serves as Priest at The Gathering Place North Shore, where he is devoted to guiding individuals and families into a deeper, living relationship with Jesus Christ through both word and deed. Father Elvin leads new believers through a thoughtful and intentional pathway of formation, offering classes that explore who Jesus is, what He accomplished, and why it matters for our lives today. He also teaches on the identity and mission of the Church—who she is, what she does, and why she is essential to the life of every believer. His discipleship process includes a comprehensive overview of the Old and New Testaments, along with the development of spiritual rhythms that help sustain and strengthen a lifelong walk with the Lord. With a heart for both tradition and relevance, he seeks to translate the ancient practices of Christian discipleship into a meaningful framework for the 21st-century believer.

In addition to his pastoral ministry, Father Elvin has a strong calling to invest in men from all walks of life. He is committed to helping men grow into spiritual maturity by fostering authentic, lasting relationships and creating spaces where honest conversations can take place. Through addressing the hard questions of life and confronting real challenges, he leads a growing brotherhood centered on accountability, transformation, and personal growth. He firmly believes that healthy men build healthy homes, and healthy homes, in turn, build healthy churches.

Above all, Father Elvin treasures his vocation as a husband and father. He has been joyfully married to his wife, Tanairis, for over 13 years, and together they are blessed with two children, Elvin Jr. and Analea. His family remains a central and cherished part of his life and ministry.
