Fr. Elect Jorge Santiago is a leader with 17 years of experience, dedicated to serving God, people, and community. From building up youth ministries to creating spaces where all can experience the love of Christ, he finds the greatest joy in investing in people and seeing them become who God has always called them to be. Having been ordained a deacon in November 2019, he also serves as a member of the clergy at The Gathering Place North Shore. Alongside Bishop Javier Valdez and Pastor K, he seeks to continue to build the church the Lord has called them to build here in the City of Lynn.
He holds a certificate in Paleo-Orthodox Christian Studies from New York Theological Seminary and an M.A. in Ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary (May 2024). He serves as a board member at My Brother’s Table, a Lynn-based nonprofit that provides meals to community members in need. He also serves as the secretary of the House of Clergy within the Union of Charismatic Orthodox Churches, where he is an integral part of building up the clergy through teaching and training that align with ancient customs upheld by Scripture, tradition, and the historicity of the Church.
Jorge is married to the love of his life, Katiria; they have been together for 12 years and are the parents of two beautiful daughters, Kaylie and Aria. Together, they serve as the CAM group coordinators and develop small-group spaces for community and discipleship to be fostered
