Waiting

This is the first Sunday of Advent, and with it, we’re bringing our real questions to God.  This week, we lean into the power of honest prayer, the courage to face uncertainty, and the hope that God is present in our world, our nation, and right here in the city of Lynn.  From the raw cries of the Psalms to Habakkuk’s bold questions, scripture shows us that God welcomes our confusion, our frustration, and our longing.  This message is for you if you’ve ever wondered. “Lord, what are you doing?”
