Before Abraham Was, I AM

Apr 12, 2026    Javier Valdez

Before Jesus ever says “I am the bread,” or “I am the light,” He first declares “I AM.” This opening sermon introduces the weight and meaning behind these words, connecting Jesus’ identity to the God who revealed Himself to Moses.  Living in a society obsessed with self-definition, Jesus claims divine authority and invites us to find our identity in Him. This message lays the foundation for the entire series, helping us see that the “I AM” statements are revelations of God’s presence, power, and promise among His people, not merely metaphors – but literal claims to divinity.
